Business Growth & Leadership Programme 2019
The Business Growth & Leadership programme is an innovative learning and development initiative providing the owner/managers of Design Enterprises with best practice business & leadership skills and knowledge to support sustainability and increase revenue in their business.
This bespoke programme is sector specific and designed to fully support you to develop a winning growth strategy for your design practice. To participate, you need to be in business for at least two years with a minimum of two employees.
This 6 month programme will help you
To effectively address your business challenges, improve and develop your design practice going forward
- Workshop 1 –THE STRATEGY DRIVING YOUR BUSINESS
Understanding where your business is now and the success factors for growth.
- Workshop 2 – MARKETING TO ACHIEVE BUSINESS GROWTH AND PROFITABLE SALES
Understanding practical marketing and promotional tools to make a difference.
- Workshop 3 – BUILDING COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGE
Identifying opportunities for innovation in your business and where to add more value.
- Workshop 4 – MANAGING THE FINANCES
Understanding your financial position and how to improve business profitability.
- Workshop 5 – SELLING MASTERCLASS: GENERATING NEW BUSINESS FROM CLIENTS
Applying the appropriate selling models for your business to sell more effectively.
- Workshop 6 – LEADERSHIP & MANAGEMENT
Develop your management and leadership style, and lead your business and team more effectively.
The programme will run one day per month for 6 months from April 11th inclusive.
Information evening will be held on Tuesday 26th February 2019. The first module is over two days, April 11th & 12th 2018 and one monthly workshop in May, June, July, September, October and November.

Mentoring is a critical part of the programme. The Mentors are business specialists who have practical experience and will have a real interest in your business challenges and growth plans. There is one mentoring session to follow each workshop.
Peer Learning & Support
At the beginning of each workshop, you will have an opportunity to exchange ideas with your peers. In particular, to discuss progress on implementation of programme best practice and also to discuss common challenges and issues.

Recruitment for the programme is through a competitive screening process.
