Gemma Gilmore is a Client Director at Mediavest where she began her career and has worked for nearly seven years. She has guest lectured in DCU with final year BSc Marketing, Innovation and Technology students. Gemma sits on the IAPI Futureheads Committee and is responsible for organising events such as one on one mentoring sessions for those in the early stages of their advertising career. She also MCs events such as the Advertising Expo, which looks to recruit final year students from every background, not just advertising and marketing, into our industry. She holds a BSc. Sport Management from UCD, an MSc Marketing from DIT and is Google Adwords Certified. Her Client experience is extensive working across all sectors, including Mars Wrigley, Nissan, ESB and Electric Ireland, BWG, HSE, Health & Safety Authority and more. Successful campaigns she’s worked on include HSE Quit which won Gold at the 2012 AdFX, the annual SPAR Twitter Tree Christmas campaign, Electric Ireland’s 20110 launch and the Galaxy Style Exchanges which was the most successful local activation for Mars Ireland.
Our second presentation expert is Aoibhín Lennon who is a Client Director at Spark Foundry where she has worked for 5.5 years. She began her career in Vizeum Ireland. She presents at industry events such as The Marketing Society and has sat on the board of delivering events to wide variety of delegates from many industries and occupations. Her client experience is extensive working across all sectors, including Three, Aviva, RTÉ, General Motors, Volkswagen Group Australia, Ulster Bank, Reckitt Benckiser and many more. Successful campaigns she’s worked on include Three takeover O2, Ulster Bank First Time Buyers First Five and the Opel Insignia Launch.
